V pardubickém Východočeském divadle vytvořila Eliška Kuchařová úlohy Anče („Jak přišla basa do nebe"), Lidušky („Paní Marjánka, matka pluku"), Ester („Romeo, Julie a tma"), Dorky („Zimní pohádka"), Rosiny („Lazebník sevillský"), Priji („Radúz a Mahulena"), Aglaji („Idiot"), Cvrčkové („Ze života hmyzu"), Anežky („Konec masopustu"), Baronesy („Jak je důležité mít Filipa"), Lidunky („Fidlovačka"), Markytky („Naši furianti"), Kaji („Stavitel Solness"), Yvety („Brouk v hlavě"), Amélie („Dům doni Bernardy"), Pavly („Kočičí hra"), Glaši („Bouře"), Poliny („Racek"), Eberové („Týden v tichém domě"), Fortnýřky („Mam'zelle Nitouche"), Madeleine („Chci slunce rozesmát"), Anny („Vpád"), Prudencie („Dům Bernardy Albové") atp.

Kdybyste mohli vidět celou fotografii z Vánoc 1988 (jenom výřez zde) vynikl by take smysl pro humor Elišky a jejího slavného tatínka.

376 From Petr PETRIK: "«b»FAMILY CHRONICLE: Family of Diana Špičková«/b»"«b»
Ing Arch Daniel Špička«/b» -
Daniel, his sister Diana and brother Hilar [III] spent the end of the Nazi occupation in South Bohemian country house in Libnic, where their parents believed them sheltered from the expected bombardment of Praha (their Prague flat was actually hit by a German bomb on the very last day of the war, May 8th,1945 !)
Daniel started elementary school at the English School in Praha, which was reopened in 1945 . Unfortunately the school, as well as all other educational institutions modeled on western schools were closed immediately after the Communist takeover in 1948.
Daniel was also a Boy Scout until Communists abolished the Scout movement in 1949. He loved to draw and paint; yet the passion of his life became music, which he first discovered through private piano lessons. As he grew up and matured the list of musical instruments he played continued to expand, as well as the range of music he performed. Besides piano and other keyboard instruments he played guitar and viola da gamba, renaissance woodwinds and brass instruments. Nonetheless, he chose to study Architecture at the Technical University in Praha. While still at the University Daniel reminisces how instead of attending his lectures at the University, he spent hours in the Archives of the Library of the National Museum in Praha copying scores of otherwise unavailable music. Later, in 1977 he founded Capella Renesex, a group of professional musicians with a mission to perform renaissance and early baroque music on authentic instruments.
As a young boy he was deeply impressed by Alexander Dumas' Three Musketeers and vowed to master the three skills of his hero swashbuckling d'Artagnan: horse riding, fencing and shooting. Although he accomplished all three, it was horse riding he pursued with greatest passion. Since the Communist ideologists considered this activity as a decadent aristocratic pastime, it had been somewhat difficult to get into it. The riding school in Praha, which had a long tradition, and which I also attended, survived only thanks to disguising itself as a paramilitary organization. I believe it was there I met him for the first time. Subsequently Daniel used every opportunity to ride horses. During summer holidays he worked hard in breeding stables, which gave him an almost unlimited riding time, and in the Barrandov Film Studios, where he used to play extras requiring horse riding skills in historical movies.
In 1970 he met Victoria Wentworth Reilly in Praha. Victoria was born on July 30, 1941 in Clewer, Windsor. Her father Paul Reilly was born in Liverpool and her mother Pamela Wentworth Foster in London, England. In 1957 Victoria moved with her mother to Canada, and studied at the Toronto Collegiate Institute. Subsequently she went on to study General English at Trinity College, University of Toronto, graduating in 1962 . Victoria was sent in 1970 to Praha by The Sunday Telegraph to write about the Czech glass industry. The meeting turned out to be momentous, and Daniel and Victoria married on January 13, 1973 in London, England. Victoria's move to Praha at the height of the Communist repression following the aborted "Prague Spring " of 1968 was very courageous indeed. It was the time when all hopes of regaining lost political and personal freedom were crushed. The couple continued to live with Daniel's parents in the family house U Mrázovky.
Victoria and Daniel have two daughters: A) Katherine (Kateřina) Wentworth Špičková-Demelová, born on May 14, 1974 in London, England, and B) Lucie (Lucy) Wentworth Špičková-Thorpe, born on February 18, 1977 in Praha. (And five grandsons, now).
As an architect Daniel devoted his career mostly to interior and furniture design, as well as the restoration of historical buildings and interiors. Daniel built up a private collection of historical musical instruments, which he restored and even built himself. The ongoing practice of music remains an important constant of his life. One of his the most notable achievements has been the founding of an annual Festival of Baroque Music in Valtice Castle in Moravia. The Festival, of which he had been an artistic director from its inception in 1989, became a cultural event with an established tradition until 2006. The result of his long involvement with Valtice has been the reconstructed Valtice Castle Baroque Theatre, designed by him and his partner Mikulas Hulec and completed in 2015.
At the time of this writing he is as busy as ever, with many plans in both architectural restoration and music, never thinking of retirement.

«/i»Started to study Chemistry at the Technical Institute in Praha. However, the declaration of the war in «i»1914 «/i» interrupted his studies. Both brothers Miroslav and Vladimír were drafted in the Austrian Army right at the onset of the war. However, unlike Vladimír who was tragically killed in action in first few months of the conflict, Miroslav survived the war and distinguished himself as an artillery officer.
In addition to Austrian decorations for gallantry, he was awarded a German Iron Cross after having served under German command at the Russian front. He survived not o nly the fighting but also a serious bout of dysentery, which accounted for a great many lives of combatants. After the WWI he successfully completed his University studies and obtained a Doctorate in Technical Sciences (PhD). His professional excellence, diligence, personal integrity, knowledge of languages and social and management skills assured him an illustrious career in the industry.
He became a leading figure in the entrepreneurial ranks in Southern Bohemia. In spite of his commitment to his many exacting professional duties, somehow he always found time to pursue his beloved outdoor activities such as skiing, canoeing, fishing and motoring. His nephew «b»Vlastislav«/b», the author of the «i»Narrative«/i», does not hide his admiration, love and reverence for him. «u»«b»PhDr.
Dětství lehké neměl, 4 sourozenci mu zemřeli, zůstal naživu on a 3 bratři.
Byl čtyři roky vychovatelem v knížecí rodině Schaumburg-Lippe v Ratibořicích a tamější vybrané chování rodiny ho inspirovalo k napsání několika společenských knih. S knížecí rodinou projel Evropu, Afriku, Asii a Severní Ameriku.

Adolf BAYER - Chief Brewmaster at Pilsner Urquell (1900-1929), PLZEN :
The son of a brewer, Adolf Bayer was born in Dobrany (1859-3-23), near Plzen, where he learnt the brewing trade. He worked in two further breweries before moving to Plzen in 1887 as a junior brewer. Hee became brewmaster after his predecessor's (Josef BINDER) death. He was heavily involved in many brewing organisations in the region and from 1911 served as the Chairman of the Czech Brewing Industry Society. Bayer's time coincided with the construction of one of the defining features of the brewery: the Water Tower. Built by Eduard Kroh, it took two years to complete and was opened in 1907. It was also under Bayer that the brewery surpassed the 1 million hectoliters per year mark in 1913. He spent a total of 42 years at the brewery and, even with ailing health, was still working at the age of 70; he died (1929-3-30) after a short illness and we're told that right to the end he was receiving and sending messages about brewery operations \endash a true brewmaster.

Jarmila BAYEROVA-Jandurova-Voleska-Kordova (*1909, mother of BV-II) remebered her sevral-day visit to the Bayers in the Urquell brewery where they lived.on the premises. Then she was a girl of 10-11 years old (1919~1920).

Josef BINDER, Chief Brewmaster, Pilsner Urquell (1879-1900), PLZEN :
Binder learnt to brew in his hometown of Kreuzberg by Bavarian Freiung and gained further experience in breweries in Munich, Passau and Linz. He went to Plzen at the invitation of Jakub Blöchl when he was 26, and got the job of boiler in the brewery in 1863, being promoted to senior boiler in 1866. He then worked as a cellarman before becoming a brewer’s assistant in 1868. He became junior brewer in 1871 and retained that position for eight years, eventually substituting for chief brewer Jakub Blöchl during spells of illness. He was appointed to brewer in February 1879 and was soon promoted to the chief brewer of the Burghers’ Brewery. He was very successful in the position; during this time the Burghers’ Brewery in Plzen was awarded number of prizes at both domestic and international exhibitions and trade fairs, and the beer production increased by 100%. He also oversaw the introduction of electric light and heating, which gradually replaced gas from 1881 – the project was finally completed in 1896. In 1885, Skoda Engineering-built artificial cooling technology was installed at the brewery, eventually replacing the practice of using blocks of ice to cool the fermentation cellars. He was said to be a strict but fair boss who trained many experts to later become successful brewers themselves. After his tenure as brewmaster he became technical director and his total time spent at the brewery was 37 years. He died in March 1900 after a long illness.

Následuje ukončení spolupráce Kachyňi s Jasným a každý směřuje svou cestou.
