His father,«b» Ing Vladimír Havlíček «/b»«i»(October 23, 1909 '96 December 23,1941)«/i», came from a wealthy family«i». «/i» With Zdenka, they had a son «b»Vladimír«/b» , born on «i»October 23, 1909«/i», whom Vlastislav Zátka did not know at all. In his «i»Narration«/i», Vlastislav mentions that he did not hear anything good about him.
Shortly before the outbreak of the WW II Vladimírl Havlíček escaped to Britain and joined
the RAF. He died a hero's death in action as a pilot (or a crewmember) of a bomber, shot down
over Pembroke Docks , South Wales. He was returning from an operational flight in Catalina BN-U W8418 bomber.
